SHE NEVER HAD ANY CHILDREN. THE CHILDREN IN PHOTO ARE "BUSH" CHILDREN ACCORDING TO THE WRITING ON BACK OF HER PHOTO. MY GRANDMOTHER KNEW HER AS SARA "HARRIETT", NOT HENRYETTA. DEATH CERT DOES SAY HENRYETTA. HER OBITUARY THANKS TO SHERRY. I CANNOT EXPLAIN THE DISCREPANCY IN DATES. MINE ARE FROM THE DAWSON RECODS. Here is her obituary - I'm sure this is the same woman, but birth date and place are different. Everything else matches. (DEFINITELY IS) Sherry LUTTRELL, MRS. (Source: newspaper unknown,1958 Texas Genealogy Trails - Gray County, Texas ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SISTER NELLIE DAWSON BRICKEY 22298921 David Dawson says Sarah Dawson Luttrell died from pneumonia in the Wanda Lou Nursing Home in Higgins, Lipscomb County, Texas. Burial was at Mobeetie. NOTE: She was known as HARRIETT to my grandmother. SHE WAS ALWAYS PARANOID ABOUT HER WEIGHT AND THE FACT THAT SHE COULD NOT HAVE CHILDREN.. Aunt Sara was loved by all that knew her, and she really loved children. She never had any of her own. My grandmother, Nora White Brickey knew her very well, and said Sarah never had children, altho some records in the Dawson family claims two children. There is a photo of Sarah posed with two BUSH children, but they are not hers. I think the children they refer to may have been children from Dee's first marriage, or possibly some of the other Luttrell families. NEW INFORMATION ABOUT THE PHOTO: Written on the back of this photo is: Mrs. Sarah Luttrell and Bush Children. I believe this is very likely the photo that is mentioned in her Find A Grave Memorial. Josie Robinson said that John and Sara owned the 40 acre plot of land where the little Church of the Brethren at Nocona stood, and that Carl White bought it from them when they moved to Nocona, Tx. I don't know if this is the same Brethren Church at Nocona, or another one, because the Molsbee family had the land at Nocona.(more research needed) One of Josie's sons now owns the land. Josie attended that church, and my grandmother Nora White Brickey taught her sunday school class at the Brethren Church. Josie knew John and Sara Dawson Luttrell well. There is also a discrepancy about her middle name being Henryetta as it has on her death cert. Our White and Dawson family used Harriett as her middle name. Sister to my great grandmother, Nellie Dawson Brickey.
