William R. "Bill" Martinka Tuesday, August 28th, 1928 - Friday, March 5th, 2021 William R. "Bill" Martinka, age 92, U.S. Army Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Violet, nee Love (1994). Loving father of Linda (Woody) Lunsford, Eileen Arnold, Susan (Mike) Wiltz, Debbie (late Casey) Neniskis, Laurie (Fred) Cozzo and William J. Martinka. Cherished grandfather of 19, two of whom preceded him in death. Dearest great-grandfather of 45 and great-great-grandfather of four. Dear brother of 16 siblings. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Bill was very dedicated to his family. He loved to golf and was an avid Chicago sports fan--especially of the Chicago Cubs. Visitation Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 3-8 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements. A private Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. While this service is limited to Bill's immediate family, a live-stream will be available.
