Bio

Martha Otille Kaderka, 88, of Granger, passed away Oct. 27, 2010 at Granger Villa Nursing Home in Granger. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. with the rosary at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29 at Providence Funeral Home chapel. Celebration of life mass services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Martha was born Jan. 9, 1922 to Frank J. and Mary (Nejtek) Martinka in Granger. She was married to Joe Kaderka April 15, 1940. She was a member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church and a member of Catholic Workman of Granger. Martha's survivors include six daughters: Mildred Green and husband Wayne, of Thorndale, Margaret Michalek and husband Frank, of Sugarland; Janie Marling, of Austin; Roselie Fowler, of Austin; Phyllis Kaderka, of Ohio; Albina Thompson and husband Gordon, of Seguin; one son Jody Kaderka and wife Kathi, of Granger; brothers and sisters: Mary Kuba, Paul Martinka, Cyril Martinka, Agnes Polasek, Joe Martinka, Bill Martinka, Tracie Guillam, Henry Martinka; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be given to SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic School or SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.
