Bio

Wellington Leader April 5, 1990 Vera Erma Gunstream, 91, a long time resident of the area, who later lived in Memphis, died Monday, March 26, 1990 at Muleshoe, where she had made her home for several years. Mrs. Gunstream was born in Gravely, Arkansas, July 5, 1898. She was the daughter of George and Lucinda Yates Crawley. She was married to O.M. Gunstream in 1916 at Loco. Mr. Gunstream preceded her in death in 1971. Mrs. Gunstream was a member of First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, the Pathfinders, the Mothers Club and the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Gunstream is survived by a son, M.D. Gunstream of Muleshoe; a daughter, Mrs. Erma Lee Lowrie of Wellington; three grandchildren, Donna Knight of Quanah, Tommy Gunstream of Muleshoe and Danny Gunstream of Shreveport, LA and 7 great-grandchildren.
