WELLINGTON - Erma Lee Gunstream Lowrie, 91, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gene Weinette, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home. Erma was born Oct. 8, 1917, in Childress County near Dodson to Oris Magnus and Vera Crawley Gunstream. She graduated from Wellington High School with the Class of 1936. She married Arvel Venoy Lowrie on Aug. 16, 1936. Survivors include a daughter, Donna Marceil Lowrie Knight of Quanah; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to First United Methodist Church, 901 Bowie St., Wellington, TX 79095. Amarillo Globe-News, March 27, 2009
