Isabelle, daughter of John and Isabelle Irvine, was born Nov 19, 1882 on a farm near Farwell and passed away at the Loup City hospital, Monday, Jan 7, 1957 at the age of 74 years, one month and 19 days. She had been in failing health for the past year and seriously ill for about three months. On January 6, 1903, she was united in marriage to Albert A. Obermiller at her home, and to them were born seven children, five sons and two daughters. They came to Sherman county in 1919 and lived in Loup City for about 10 years, before moving to the farm which was there home from 1928 to 1948. They then retired and returned to Loup City which had been their home since. Mrs. Obermiller had been a member of the Presbyterian Church for many years. Survivors are sons, George, Harold and Irvine, all of Loup City; daughters, Mildred (Mrs. George Heil) of Loup City and Margaret (Mrs. Arthur Kieborz) of Litchfield, (and) eight grand children. Preceding her in death were an infant son, Orville and another son, Leonard, who died within a day of each other. A double funeral was held for them.
