Lorraine E. (Herl) Boyle, 83, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away September 12, 2015 at Delmar Gardens of Overland Park after a long illness. She was born on December 31, 1932 in Munjor, Kansas to Anton and Katherine (Kippes) Herl. Lorraine was one of twelve children. Lorraine was married to William D. Boyle for over 40 years. She worked many years at Wal-Mart in Shawnee, KS. Lorraine loved and cherished her husband, children, grandchildren, friends and family. She loved truly doing and giving to her family and friends. Lorraine had a kind, generous heart that will always be remembered. She is preceded in death by her husband William Boyle, parents Anton and Katherine Herl and her siblings. She is survived by daughter, Deborah Boyle Taylor of Overland Park, KS; son, Chas Boyle of Seattle, WA; four beloved granddaughters, Brooke Boyle-Dunnigan, Korie Boyle both of Seattle, WA, Jenna and Jessica Taylor of Overland Park, KS; sister-in-law, Helen Herl of Gladstone, MO; several nieces and nephews. Lorraine will be sadly missed but will always be loved and remembered. A private memorial will be held for close family and friends. Inurnment will be at Russell City Cemetery at a later date. Family suggest memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association.
