Bio
Her death certificate was informed by Earl Porter of Mexico, Missouri. He gave Harrison Craig as her father, with mother's name unknown. In Earl Porter's death certificate of 1954, his mother's name is given as Eliza Craig and his father as Edward Porter. Mary Eliza had a sister, Anna Sissom, whose son Clarence lived in San Diego, California, in 1910 with Mary and her husband, whose name was transcribed as Albert, but most likely was Elbert Eddison Snowden, a native of Michigan. In 1910, Mary's census record recorded that she had born 3 children, all three living. On her death certificate her husband's name was recorded as Bert Snowden. Her husband died in San Diego in 1921, and she returned to her place of birth, Danville, Missouri, by 1930.
