FORMER GALENA GROCER DIES AT DANVILLE, MO. Galena, Kan., Jan, 24.—News has been received of the death at Danville, Mo., of S. A. Craig, brother of Charles and John Craig of this city. Mr. Craig resided in Galena thirty-five years, before going to Danville two years ago to reside. During his residence in Galena he was a partner in the Craig grocery, No. 906 East Seventh street. He was born in Danville, Mo., in 1855, coming to Galena with his parents when a young man. In 1888 he married Miss Anna Cooper of Galena. Surviving are his wife, two sons, Lee Craig of Loveland, Calif., and Hugh Craig of Danville, Mo.; his mother, Mrs. Mary Angleberger, Galena, and Walter Craig, Pueblo, Colo.; four sisters: Mrs. Eliza Snowden of Danville; Mrs. Anna Anderson of Santa Barbara, Calif.; Mrs. John Montgomery, RIverton, Kan.; and Mrs. Maggie Rhodes of Los Angeles. Calif. Burial will be made at Montgomery City, Mo. E. M. Cooper and Clarence Craig of Galena have gone to Danville to attend the funeral.
