Bio

Susannah Elizabeth Ewiing died at the home of her parents one mile north of New Castle, Oct. 7, 1907, aged 60 years, 8 months and 15 days. She moved with her parents to Gentry Co. Mo, in 1865. She was converted and united with the Methodist church in 1866 to which she was faithful until the end. She was married to B.F. Ewing in 1868. They lived in Pattonsburg for a number of years. About two years ago they moved to Lyons County, Kansas. Finding her health failing fast Mr. Ewing came with her to Missouri, thing her native home might help her. Her stay was very short. She arrived a the home of her parents Sunday evening about 5 o'clock and died Monday evening about 20 minutes past 2 o'clock. She had five children, three boys and two girls, the latter having gone before. She leaves to mourn her loss many friends and relatives, her husband, three sons, a father and mother, one sister and five brothers.
