Deceased Name: Evelyn Jensen UT United States Evelyn Jensen 1917 ~ 2006 Mary Evelyn Whitby Stagg Jensen, 89, passed away December 4, 2006 surrounded by her family in Murray. She was born February 22, 1917 in Alpine, UT the eighth child of Thomas Alvin and Alice Cordelia Moyle Whitby in Alpine, UT. She met Gilbert Louis Stagg and they were married November 5, 1937 in the Salt Lake Temple, he passed away February 7, 1946. She later married Robert Paul Jensen April 10, 1954. She served in various positions in the church and was an avid gardener. She is survived by Barbara (Jay) Hall; Scott (Vicki) Jensen; both of Murray; grandchildren Nanette Goodman, Shawn Hall, Stephanie Kenney, Rob Christensen, Brandon Boer, great grandchildren, Alexis and Joshua Hall, Australia; Sierra and Skyelar Goodman; Dylan Sevey; siblings May Morgan, Ray Whitby, and George L. Whitby. Preceded in death by Gilbert Stagg, Robert Jensen, two sons, Ronald Stagg and Robert Stagg , nine brothers and sisters. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity. Special thanks to the staff at the Silverado Care Center for their exceptional care. Funeral services will be held Saturday December 9, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, Am. Fork.
