Fort Bend Herald, September 17, 2017: Lillie W. Bishop, 94, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on September 9, 2017. She was born on May 28, 1923 in Needville, Texas to Willie H. and Martha Tielke Wieghat. Lillie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wesley Bishop; sons, Wade and Michael Keeton; siblings, Rosa Lee Barnes, Benita Walzel, and Lawrence Wieghat; nephew, Dwain Barnes; and-great nephew, Chad Barnes. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kaye and Jim Vance; beloved grandchildren, Jim Jr. and Sundee Vance, Bryan Scott Vance, and Victoria and Billy Stassinos; her sister, Leona Griffith; sister-in-law, Dorothy Wieghat; brother-in-law, Gilbert Walzel; sister-in-law, Betty Keeton; along with many dear nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends. Lillie was the very best mother, grandmother, wife, and friend, and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
