Mary A. Dvoracek Jansa passed away Monday, February 7, 1994 in Dallas. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Msgr. John T. Guiczynski was the celebrant. Burial was at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas. Mrs. Jansa was born in West on September 23, 1907 to John and Mary (Pilcik) Dvoracek. She was the third daughter of 14 children. In 1929, she moved to Dallas. She was a charter member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and a member of Our Lady's Altar Society. She worked for the Borden Company for 17 years. She married Frank L. Jansa on August 22, 1934 in West. They made their home in Dallas. On December 18, 1960, he preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Cy (Mary Jo) Marek of Dallas and Mrs. David (Elizabeth) Gray of Lucas; seven sisters, Christine Dvoracek of Dallas, Agnes Mullins of San Bernardino, California, Albina Svrcek of West, Julia Dlabaj of Mesquite, Anne Horton of Ross, Betty Payne of Deckers, Colorado, and Tracy Morse of Waco; four grandsons, David Gray, John Gray, Jeff Gray and Thomas Marek; and two granddaughters, Catherine Marek Lapinski and Teresa Marek. Mrs. Jansa is preceded in death by three brothers, John Dvoracek, Joe Dvoracek and Louis Dvoracek, and three sisters, Irene Whitman, Tillie Harrison and Justine Dvoracek.
