Funeral Services Held Thursday For John Dvoracek John Dvoracek, 91, of West died at 9:45 p.m. Monday at his home. Requiem Mass was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 26 in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Dvoracek was born in Moravia, Czechoslovakia. He came to Texas with his parents at the age of eight. He had lived in West for the past 50 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. He also was a member of KJT Lodge No. 31 of West. Survivors are his wife; three sons, John W. Dvoracek of Penelope, Joe Dvoracek of Dallas, and Louis Dvoracek of West; 11 daughters, Mrs. Leo (Irene) Whitman of Garland, Mrs. Russell (Agnes) Mullins of San Bernardino, Calif., Mrs. Frank L. (Mary) Jansa of Dallas, Mrs. M. W. (Albina) Svrcek of West, Mrs. Charles (Julia) Dlabaj of Dallas, Mrs. Bill (Tillie) Harrison of West, Mrs. Bomar (Annie) Horton of San Angelo, Mrs. Jack (Betty) McGee of Long Beach, Calif., Miss Christine Dvoracek and Miss Justine Dvoracek, both of Dallas, Miss Tracy Dvoracek of West; a brother, Charles Dvoracek of West; three sisters, Mrs. Rudolph Sulak of West, Mrs. Louis Podsednik of Port Arthur and Mrs. A.D. Sulak of Dallas; 27 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Marvin Dvoracek, Joe Svrcek, Paul Whitman, Leo Dlabaj, Hatton Sumner and Bill Ray Dvoracek.
