Obituary; Wayne County News; July 27, 2005 edition "Missy" Beard Parker "Missy" Beard Parker, 76, of Saraland, Ala., died July 24, 2005, at her residence. She was a beautician. She is survived by her husband, Victor J. Parker Sr. of Saraland, Ala.; one son Calvin Beard of Waynesboro; one step-son, Victor J. Parker Jr. of Mobile; three daughters, Patricia Spencer of Hattiesburg, Wanda Stringer of Satsuma, Ala. and Dianne Mitchell of Creola, Ala.; two brothers, Aden Boyles and Albert Boyles, both of Waynesboro; four sisters, Edith Purvis and Ethel Cooley, both of Waynesboro Lucille Gagmon of Newman, Ga., and JoAnn Busby of Laurel; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held July 26 at Freeman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Holder officiating. Interment followed in the Mozingo-Bud Beard Cemetery. Freeman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
