Waynesboro News Published Oct. 16, 2008 ALBERT L. "BUD" BOYLES April 17, 1927-Oct. 9, 2008 Funeral services for Albert L. "Bud" Boyles, 81, of Waynesboro, were held Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, from the Freeman Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, with the Revs. Glenn Freeman and Lannis May officiating. Interment was in the Boyles Chapel Cemetery in Wayne County. Born April 17, 1927, and a native of Wayne County, Boyles was self-employed as a farmer, and was affiliated with Boyles Chapel United Methodist Church of Wayne County. He died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro. Survivors include his brother, Adren Boyles of Waynesboro; four sisters, JoAnn Busby and husband Alonzo of Laurel, Edith Malone Purvis of Waynesboro, Ethel Cooley and husband Bud of Waynesboro; and Lucille Gagnon and husband Jim of Newnan, Ga.; a sister-in-law, Bobbie Boyles of Waynesboro; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lottie Street Boyles; his father, Newt Boyles; two brothers, Harold and Clayton Boyles; and three sisters, Missy Parker, Eva Hendershot and Josephine Boyles. Freeman Funeral Home of Waynesboro was in charge of arrangements
