Calvin L. Beard Born: Fri., Jun. 6, 1947 Died: Tue., Feb. 4, 2014 Mr. Calvin L. Beard, 66, a native and resident of Waynesboro, MS died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro. Mr. Beard is preceded in death by his mother, Addie Lou Parker; father, Alex Beard; son, Jamie Beard; daughter, Belinda Joyce Beard; sister, Carolyn Jean Beard. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Beard of Waynesboro; 2 sons, Tim Beard of Petal, Michael Beard (Amanda) of Waynesboro; 3 sisters, Pat Spencer, Wanda Stringer, Diane Mitchell all of Mobile, AL; 6 grandchildren, Morgan Chapman, Aaron Beard, Dayton Beard, Austin Beard, Chailey Beard, Justice Beard. Visitation for Mr. Beard will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 6, 2014 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Phillip Gandy and Rev. Randy McLeod officiating. Interment will be in Beard-Mozingo Cemetery, Waynesboro, MS.
