Press-Register (Mobile, AL) - July 31, 2008 Deceased Name: Victor Parker Sr. Victor J. Parker Sr., a native of Perdido and resident of Saraland, died Monday at his home. He was 78. Parker had retired from Alcoa Aluminum after many years of service. Survivors include one son, Victor J. Parker Jr. of Mobile; four stepchildren, Patricia Spencer of Petal, Miss., Wanda Stringer of Satsuma, Dianne Mitchell of Creola and Calvin Beard of Waynesboro, Miss.; 10 grandchildren; and 24 grandchildren. Visitation is set for today from 10 a.m. until the noon service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Celeste Road in Saraland. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
