YORK, Pennsylvania Mrs. Rosalee Kavinski, 66, of York, PA died on June 27, 1987 at Memorial Hospital. Services were at 10 a.m. July 2 with a Mass of Christian burial at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Officiating as celebrant of the mass was her pastor, Msgr. Thomas Brenner. Burial was in the Holy Saviour Cemetery. Mrs. Kavinski was born and reared in West and was the daughter of the late Louis and Veronica Stepan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Kavinski of York; grandson, Stephen Lewis Dubs of Annandale, VA; sister, Olga Vrba of Elm Mott; and brother, John Lee Stephan of Austin. She was a retired teacher’s aide for Community Progress Council and also taught at the John F. Kennedy Day Care Center. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, the Women’s Organization of the Church, and York County Association for Retarded Citizens. Survivors include her daughter, Karen Nicholas and granddaughters, Jennifer and Tiffany Nicholas of York PA.; daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Dave Dubs and grandson, Kevin Dubs of Annandale, VA; son and daughter-n-law, Craig and Carol Kavinski and grandson, Kyle Kavinski of Loma Linda, CA.; sister, Mary Vrba of Temple; and brothers Joe and George Stepan of Austin.
