Bio
The only son of Francis Marion and Margaret Emma Craig Cupp, husband of Bertha Althea Ashley. John father 14 children, 11 lived. John was tall with red hair. John F. Cupp, 86, of Pineville died at 10:30 pm Friday in Rapides Gereral Hospital, Oct. 10, 1975.Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bertha A. Cupp of Pineville; five sons, John F. Cupp Jr. of Houston, Marion G. Cupp of Vicksburg, Miss., Ralph S. Cupp, George W. Cupp and Russell Cupp, all of Kolin; six daughters, Mrs. Althea McCann of Kolin, Mrs. Queenie Brossett, Mrs. Ruby Mark and Mrs. Monnette Paul, all of Pineville, Mr.s Daisy Mayeux of Marksville and Mrs. Quinnette Neal of Houston, two sisters, Mrs. Rose Neal of Alexandria and Miss Zudie Cupp of Pineville; 57 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.Services will be held at 1 pm today in the chapel of John Kramer & Son, Alexandria. Burial will be in Craig Cemetery, Philadelphia community.
