He was a retired electrician and a U.S. Air Force veteran. Survivors: sons, George Cupp Jr. of Alexandria and John W. Cupp of Oklahoma City; daughters, Tammy Simon of Oklahoma City, Cathy Glidwell and Karen Shelton, both of Guthrie, Ok., Patty Murphree of Birmingham, Al., and Teri Scott of Omaha, Neb.; brother, Buster Cupp of Vicksburg, Miss.; sisters, Queenie Brossett and Ruby Mark, both of Pineville, Daisy Mayeux of Marksville and Monnette Paul of Vista, Ar.; 15 grandchildren.
