Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy C. Mayeux, 88, of Monroe, LA will be held at 9:30 AM Saturday April 29, 2017 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA with Rev. Ben Lauritzen officiating. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Mayeux died April 25, 2017 at Avalon Place. Daisy was a member of the Bible Missionary Church in Monroe, LA. She was a retired Home Health Nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dandy Joseph Mayeux, daughter, Martha Mayeux Anderson and her grandson, Byron Mayeux. Survivors: Son, Silas Mayeux; Grandchildren, David Anderson and his wife, Almalesha, Rebecca Anderson, Brent Mayeux, Julie Newsom and husband, Jack; numerous great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe. Pallbearers will be David Anderson, Langston Powell, Brent Mayeux, Silas Mayeux, Jack Newsom, and Verdine Williams. Memorials may be made to the Bible Missionary Church on Finks Hideaway in Monroe, LA.
