Funeral services for Mrs. Melissa Goff, 48 years old, who died Tuesday morning at a local sanitarium, were held Wednesday afternoon from the Philadeiphia chapel near Alexandria, with interment in the Philadelphia Cemetery. The body was sent to that place Tuesday night by the McCook Brothers funeral home. Surviving are her husband, N.L. Goof; one daughter, Lucille Goff, and four sons, James, Harry, Dee and Fields Goff, all of Alexandria. Mrs. Goff was a resident of Alexandria.
