Milton Eckstein The funeral for Milton Eckstein, 84, of Morse Bluff will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Kracl Funeral Chapel in Schuyler. He died Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, at Butler County Health Care Center in David City. He was born Oct. 10, 1921, in Morse Bluff to Vaclav and Tillie (Weverka) Eckstein. He graduated from North Bend High School in 1940. He joined the U.S. Army in 1942. He farmed near Morse Bluff his entire life. Survivors include: a sister, Marie Pawling of Fremont; and two brothers, Alvin and Anton, both of Linwood. He was preceded in death by six brothers, including one in infancy, and four sisters, including two in infancy. The Rev. Christopher Goodwin will officiate Friday's service. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the family present from 6-8 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Killian Cemetery in rural Morse Bluff. Memorials have been established to Wahoo Neumann High School and David City Aquinas High School.
