Sweetwater Rites Scheduled Friday for J.B. Young, 75 Sweetwater - Funeral for J.B. Young, 75, longtime resident of Nolan County, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fundamental Baptist Church. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery under direction of Patterson Funeral Home. Mr. Young died at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday in Simmons Memorial Hospital after a week's illness. He was born in McGregor, Texas, Feb. 21, 1886, and married Bernice Ollie Harvey in Ellis County in 1917. He was a farmer in Roscoe and moved to Sweetwater in 1950. Mr. Young is survived by his wife; eight sons, Johnny C., Jesse E., Sam Edwin and Frank E., all of Sweetwater, J.B., Jr. of Muleshoe, Harvey D. of Euless, Roger P. of Grand Prairie and James H. of Pittsburgh, Pa.; four daughters, Mrs. C.H. Davis of Sacramento, Calif., Mrs. Carl Willis of Tracey, Calif., Mrs. Harrell Geron of Colorado City and Mrs. Charles Brown of Roscoe; three brothers, E.E. of Seagraves, Will of Brownwood, and Sherrill of Abilene; two sisters, Mrs. Mable Harper of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Vida Freeze of Brady.
