Jessie E. Young (February 12, 1931 - April 2, 2014) U.S. Veteran Jessie E. Young passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Villa Haven Nursing Home in Breckenridge, Texas. He was 83 years old. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at McCoy Chapel of Memories. His nephews, Cooper Young and Wayne Brown, will be officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories. Mr. Young was born on February 12, 1931 in Bailey County, Texas. He graduated from Highland High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Jessie was a member of Lake Side Baptist Church in Breckenridge, Texas and had lived in Breckenridge since 1990. He was a Communication Technician for AT&T retiring after 35 years of service. Survivors include: Daughters-Janet Hahn and her husband, Tony, of Hooppole, IL, Judy Estes of Breckenridge, TX, Susan Wolfe and her husband, Roger, of Mineral Wells, TX; Sister-Lottie Brown of Highland, TX; Brothers-Paul Young and his wife, Nita, of Bedford, TX, James Young of Bethel Park, PA, Frank Young of Nolan, TX, Sam Young and his wife, Dorothy, of Sweetwater; 6 granchildren-Casey Wolfe and his wife, Amy, Daniel Hahn, Josh McAlmond and his wife, Sarah, Meg Sadau and her husband, Zach, Kelsey Kelso and her husband, Clayton, Emmy Estes; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Stan Young, a granddaughter, Amanda Hahn, three sisters and three brothers. Pallbearers will be his nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 4 at McCoy Funeral Home, 401 East Third St., Sweetwater TX 79556.
