Edwin Earl Young married Ella Burrier on November 10, 1914. Three years earlier, his brother Thomas Pierce Young had married Ella's sister, Dora, on October 8, 1911. Edwin Earl was the son of John Calvin Lafett Young and Martha Ann "Mattie" Wyatt. His siblings were: Grover Alberta Young Kane; Joseph Bruno Young, Sr.; Thomas Pierce "Tom" Young; John William "Will" Young; Clarence B.
