Bio

Albert Basil Bateman was the 2 son and the 4th child of John Daniel Bateman and Laura Ada Woolley Bateman. He married Nola Leona Camp. They had 3 daughters. Jean Wallace Bateman Family History Obituary: Funeral Services Held Wednesday For A. B. Bateman Albert B. Bateman, 75, died in a Terrell hospital Monday afternoon following a long illness. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hilliard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ed Barrett and Rev. Raymond Valentine officiating. Interment was in Highland cemetery. Mr. Bateman was a retired carpenter, and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Lawrence of California, Mrs. Betty Jo Swaney of Corpus Christi, and Mrs. Mina Faye Lunceford of Big Spring; three brothers, Clyde Bateman, Virgil Bateman and Leland Bateman of Canton; five sisters, Mrs. Ora Hall of Abilene, Mrs. Monnie Baugh of Wills Point, Mrs. Sallie Simpson of Wichita Falls, Mrs Verlie Snow of Dallas; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Nephews served as pallbearers.
