Coats (Greenville Herald Banner, November 28, 1974) Emory- Funeral services for Mrs. Jimmie L. (Bud) Coats (76) will be held at the Emory Church of Christ today at 2 p.m. with Reverends G.D. Phillips and Robert Waller officiating. Mrs. Coats died in a Tyler hospital Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. Mrs. Coats was born on March 18, 1898 in Emory, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim McLeod. She was a member of the Church of Christ for 45 years. Surviving are three sons, George Coats of Emory, Alex Coats of Stamford, and Steve Coats of Emory; a sister, Viola Kuentz of Amarillo three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
