Herald Coaster, April 30, 1987: Funeral services for Hugo Ondrey, 78, of Pleak, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at the Davis-Dawson Funeral Home in Rosenberg, with Monsignor James Madden, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Thursday at the Davis-Dawson Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. Mr. Ondrey died Tuesday at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston. Survivors include his wife, Josie Ondrey of Pleak; two daughters, Mary Ann Butler and Dorothy Anderson of Pleak; a son, Hugo Joe Ondrey of Houston; two sisters, Fannie Bell Ratcliff of Aransas Pass and Betty Jean Ondrej of Pleak; a brother, Henry Ondrey of Pleak; and six grandchildren. Friends may call at the Davis-Dawson Funeral Home in Rosenberg after 2 p.m. Thursday.
