Bio

Nan graduated from Incarnate Word Academy in Corpus Christi, then earned a Bachelors degree from Texas A&I University (now Texas A&M-Kingsville). She taught home economics for 30 years, 25 of which were for the Calallen Independent School District (which was named for her grand-uncle). For many years Nan was actively involved with 4-H as an adult leader. Nan was warm, loving, and devoted to her family. Her home was always open to others, with something good to eat available.
