Bio

Bernard "Ben" Vrba, 82, of Hoen, Texas, passed away Friday morning, May 5, 2006, in a Hillsboro nursing home. Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will e 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours with Msgr. Isidore Rozychi as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Martin's Cemetery in Tours. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Satuday at Kotch Funeral Home in West. Bernard lived in the Tours-Hoen area all of his life. He was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours and a fifty year member of the KJT Society #60 of Tours. Survivors include his brothers, Stanley Vrba Sr. and wife, Barbara, of West, and Ermin Vrba and wife, Anne, of Sherman; sister, Georgia Howell and husband, Jack, of Garland; and several nieces and nephews.
