Requiem Mass Held Wed. For Mrs. John Vrba Mrs. John (Rozina) Vrba, 78, of Mt. Calm died at 5:40 p.m. Sunday in a Hillsboro hospital. Funeral services were at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday in Kotch Funeral Chapel at West. Requiem mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Martin’s Catholic Church at Tours, with Rev. Marion Atomanczyk as celebrant. Burial was in St. Martin’s Cemetery at Tours. Mrs. Vrba was born at Tours and lived in the Tours and West area all her life. She was a member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church at Tours and KJZT Lodge No. 45 of Tours. Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Jack D. (Georgia) Howell of Tulsa, Okla.; four sons, Joe R. Vrba of Waco, Bernard Vrba of Mount Calm, and Ermin Vrba and Stanley Vrba, both of West; two step-daughters, Mrs. Angeline Uptmore of Waco and Mrs. I.J. (Elvina) Sykora of Galveston; two stepsons, Jerry Vrba of Corpus Christi and John Vrba of Abbott; three sisters, Mrs. Joe Mynarcik and Mrs. Rudolph Vanzura, both of West, and Mrs. Janie Kolenovsky of Galveston; four brothers, Rudolph Macicek, Henry Macicek and John Macicek, all of West; and Louis Macicek of Galveston; 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Frankie Macicek of Abbott, Joe Mynarcik of West, Edward Podsednik, Ernest Vrba, August C. Vrba and August Snokhous, all of Tours.
