Bio
Daughter of John & Mary (Sabata) Kominek. Graduated from Bee High School in 1931. Married: Jan. 14, 1932, to Hubert Chloupek. He died Feb. 22, 1954. Moved to Litchfield in 1937, to Minden in 1954; moved to Ravenna in 1963. Married: Nov. 14, 1964, to Albert Buchmann. He died June 28, 1986. With second husband, farmed the Buchmann family farm; retired and moved to Ravenna in 1980. Activities: member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, its altar society, Ravenna Garden Club, Majors Extension Club and South Ravenna Extension Club; enjoyed bowling, cooking, playing cards and gardening. Survivors include her son, Richard Chloupek of Litchfield; daughters, Bernadene Bauer of Ravenna and Sandra Wright of Broken Bow; and 10 great-grandchildren; also daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Chloupek of Litchfield; sons-in-law, Alvin Bauer of Ravenna and Gary Wright of Broken Bow; grandsons and spouses, Randall and Shelly Chloupek, Kevin and Susan Chloupek, Brent and Chris Bauer and Geoff and Brooke Wright; granddaughters and spouses, Stacy and Rod Baillie and Stephanie and Tony Wright; and many other relatives and friends.
