Bio

The Shraders left Coffee Co., TN, in the fall, after the 1870 census taker had been to their home. Fount, as he was called most of his life, was born in Carrollton, Carroll County, Arkansas soon after his family arrived from Coffee County, Tennessee. In 1874 (?) the Shrader family arrived in Collin County, TX. He served four separate terms as mayor of Frisco and took over as postmaster after the death of his younger brother, Daniel Booker Shrader. Information from Death Certificate: Trade or profession is shown as Retired Business man; name of father is shown as George W. Shrader; maiden name of mother as Mary Gibbs; signature of informant is Mrs. F. P. Shrader of Frisco; primary cause of death was Chronic Endocarditis with the contributory cause of death as Arterio Selerosio.
