Bio
James Knox Polk Shrader was born in Coffey County, Tennessee; married Flora (Florence Tilatha Smith) in Collin County. They had five known children: Hammond E. Shrader (b. 13 Jun 1888-12 Apr 1891), Evelyn Shrader (b.1892), Charlotte (b. abt 1895), Dorothy (b. abt 1903), Rachel Shrader (1 Oct 1905-12 Apr 1891). Hammond E. and Rachel Shrader are buried in this same burial area, along with JKP's sister, Tennessee Catherine Shrader Mathers and her husband William Ryder Mathers. He was the son of George Hammond Shrader and Mary Inez Gibbs, who are buried in Bethel Cemetery near Frisco, along with several of his brothers, a sister, their families, several cousins, and nephews. A brother, Houston Petway Shrader and his wife and daughters are buried in Restland in Dallas. A sister, Martha Elizabeth Shrader Rogers and her husband are also buried at Restland.
