Bio

Herald Coaster, March 27, 1972: Funeral services for Stanislav J. Vacek of 1908 Brooks, Rosenberg, will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday from Triska Chapel followed by 2 p.m. mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Rosary will be at 7:30 tonight at Triska Chapel. Vacek, 73, died Sunday morning in Polly Ryon Hospital. He was a retired farmer who had lived in this area for 70 years. He is survived by his wife, Mary; one daughter, Mrs. Martha McCain, Rosenberg; two sons, Eddie and Louis, both of Rosenberg; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Zwahr and Mrs. Ella Novak of Rosenberg, and Mrs. Martha Janda of Fairchilds; three brothers, Vaclav and Vojt of Rosenberg, and Joe of Needville; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today.
