Bio

Grand Island (Nebraska) Independent Wednesday, 2 June 1971 Funeral rites for Walter E. Michalski, 411 E. 15th, will be held at 9:30 Thursday morning in Blessed Sacrament Church. A requiem mass will be offered. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 Wednesday evening in the chapel of the Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. Mr. Michalski, a retired farmer, died Sunday in a local hospital. He had been in ill health for many months. He is survived by his wife, Anna; children, Mrs. Loretta Findley, Dan and Edward Michalski, all of Grand Island, Mrs. Lillian Sullivan and Mrs. Claire Stierwalt, both of Davenport, Iowa, and Mrs. Esther Comstock of Pendleton, Ore.; his step-children, Mike Suchanek of New Orleans, La., Emil Suchanek of Springfield, Ore., Tony Suchanek, Mrs. Earl Schwieger and Mrs. Dick Senkbeil, all of Grand Island, Robert Suchanek of Springfield, Ore., Leonard Suchanek of Washington, D.C., Larry Suchanek of Santa Clara, Calif., George Suchanek of Omaha, Mrs. Helen Bob of Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. Mildred Zimbleman of Omaha and Mrs. Tena Bagin of Milwaukee, Wis.; one sister, Mrs. max Malek of Deer Park, Wash.; 31 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
