Herald Coaster, November 7, 1991: Funeral services for Edna A. Kneitz, 90, are scheduled 10 a.m. Friday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. A rosary service will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Davis Chapel in Needville. Mrs. Kneitz was born Dec. 27, 1900 in Ammannsville. She died Tuesday at Memorial Southwest Hospital in Houston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe S. Kneitz, on Feb. 7, 1980. Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Alma and Ed Ludwig of Bellaire, and Dorothy and Douglas Hyatt of Austin; two sisters, Martha Martin of Spring and Georgie Spurny of Houston; two grandsons, James Ludwig and Ron Hyatt; three granddaughters, Judy Ludwig, Linda Barron, and Rhonda Hyatt; great-grandchildren, David Barron, Brian Hyatt, Jessica Knape, Shenan Hoppe-Ludwig, Steven Barron, Michael Barron, and Allison Barron; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at Davis Funeral Home in Needville. Services are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Needville.
