Bio

Herald Coaster, May 16, 1977: Funeral services for Jerry C. Talasek, 59, of Richmond, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Rosenberg Brethren Church, with the Rev. Tommy Tallas officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Triska-Davis-Dawson Funeral Home. Mr. Talasek died Friday evening in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. An employee of Gulf States Tube Corp., he was a native of Temple. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucille Talasek; two daughters, Mrs. Richard L. McWhorter of Houston and Mrs. Tom Hendrix of Fort Hood; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Herman Psencik and Mrs. Ben Babovec, both of Rosenberg, and Mrs. Walter Weaver of Forth Worth; two brothers, Tom Talasek Jr. and Albert Talasek, both of Rosenberg.
