Bio
Herald Coaster, September 7, 1966: Mrs. Tom Talasek Sr., 73, died suddenly Saturday night of an apparent heart attack. A native of Cuba, Kansas, she had been a resident of Rosenberg since 1925. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Rosenberg Brethren Church, with Rev. Henry Beseda of Houston and Rev. John Bravenec of Caldwell officiating. Survivors include her husband, Tom Talasek Sr. of Rosenberg; three daughters, Mrs. Millie Psencik and Mrs. Ben Babovec of Rosenberg, and Mrs. Leona Weaver of Forth Worth; four sons, Tom, Albert, and Jerry of Rosenberg, and Edwin of Fort Worth; one brother, Charlie Horak of Rosenberg; three sisters, Mrs. Joe Macek and Mrs. Frank Chupik of Rosenberg, and Mrs. Joe Talasek of Temple; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
