Bio

(KS) Belleville Telescope Dec. 26. 1968 Frank Zacek, son of Joseph and Marie Wiruth Zacek was born southeast of Cuba, Kan., December 24, 1882, and died at the Bates Rest Home, Republic, Kan., December 15 at the age of 85. He attended White School, south of Cuba. He engaged in farming most of his life in the Agenda community. He was a member of ZCBJ Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters. Survivors are: two sisters, Mrs. John (Betty) Shulda of Cuba, Mrs. Rose Barnett of Wichita; two brothers-in-law, J. J. Blazek of Cuba, Joseph Beneda of Clyde; nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 18 at the United Presbyterian church of Cuba conducted by the Rev. Fred Mansfield. Interment was in National (Kopsa) Bohemian cemetery.
