Herald Coaster, June 25, 1997: Funeral services for Janet Marie "Peaches" Fajkus, 71, of Rosenberg, will be held Thurs., June 26, at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg, with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Father Eric Pitre will officiate the services. A rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wed., June 25, at the Davis Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. Mrs. Fajkus was born May 4, 1926 in Columbus and passed away June 24, 1997 in Rosenberg. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, The Pioneer Club, K.J.Z.T., and worked for Southwestern Bell. She is preceded in death by her husband, Simon Fajkus; her parents, Cyril and Emma Chudej Sykora; sister, Virginia Bohacek; and brother, Daniel Sykora. Mrs. Fajkus is survived by sons, Carroll Fajkus and his wife, Sam, of Rosenberg, Rodney Fajkus and his wife, Susan, of Katy; sisters, Marzline Walzel and her husband, Eddie, of Beasley, Georgeanne Lindemann of Needville; brothers, Alvin Sykora and his wife, Judy, of Rosenberg, Johnny Sykora and his wife, Barbara, of Richmond, Larry Sykora and his wife, Shirley, of Rosenberg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call after 5 p.m. on Wed., June 25, at Davis Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd., Rosenberg. (281) 341-8800.
