Bio

FORT WORTH - Lena B. Cason, 93, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo with Daniel K. Shaeffer officiating. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Mrs. Cason was born in Mexia on June 6, 1911. She was a member of Heights Baptist Church in Temple and was active in Associational Baptist Women's Work for a number of years. Survivors include two daughters, Donetia M. Griffith and husband, Glenn, of Temple and Dorothy M. Grace and husband, Gene, of Waco; two sons, Wendell W. Cason and wife, Linda, and David F. Cason and wife, Midge, all of Fort Worth; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, P.O.
