"Buck' Toombs, 82, longtime Texhoma resident, died Tuesday at Texas County Memorial Hospital He was born on Jan 17. 1897, at Plano Tex , and married Ollie Wooley at Wichita Falls Tex on Aug 18, 1923 Toombs came to the Texhoma area in 1943 and was a member of the United Methodist Church He recently resided at Dunaway Manor He is survived by two sons Larry Toombs and Bob Toombs both of Guymon, three daughters Juanita Montoya and Linda Caldwell both of Texhoma and Jonell Kittle of Lawton Okla three Sisters Velma Lieto Vera Brown and Myrtle Lynn Roach one brother Edwin Albert Toombs 3 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services for Toombs will be conducted from the Texhoma United Methodist Church on Thursday Aug 9 at 2 p. m. with the Rev. Gary Graham pastor for the church, officiating. Interment will be in the Texhoma Cemetery under the direction of the Dawson-Welch Funeral Home of Texhoma.
