Mother of (Pearl Toombs born 3-28-1927) Funeral services for Mrs. Ollie Toombs of Texhoma will be held Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Texhoma with Rev. Marvin Polson officiating. Burial will be in the Texhoma Cemetery under the direction of the Dawson Welch Funeral Home of Texhoma. Mrs. Toombs was born August 10, 1901, in Elmer, Oklahoma. She married Elbert Toombs in Wichita Falls, Texas on August 18, 1923. She had worked for the Texhoma School system in the cafereria for over twenty years. She is survived by her husband of the home, three daughters, Juanita Montoya and Linda Caldwell, both of Texhoma, and Mrs, JoNell Kittle of Lawton; two sons, Larry Toombs of Clovis, N. M. and Bob Toombs of Goodwell; three sisters, Mrs. Lorene Henly of Amarillo, Mrs. Vista Butler of Elmer, Ok, Mrs. Kate Sloan of Mina, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
