Bio

FORT WORTH - Myrtle Roach, a homemaker, died Sunday at a Fort Worth hospital. She was 84. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Worth Baptist Church, where she was a member. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Mount Olivet Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Roach was born in Altus, Okla., and lived in Fort Worth for 70 years. She taught Sunday school for 40 years. Survivors: Two sons, Robert E. Roach of Arlington and Floyd B. Roach of Hurst; daughter, Joyce Roach Johnson of Simi Valley, Calif.; sister, Vera Brown of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
