CONROE - Vera Pauline Brown, 88, died Tuesday, May 4, 1999, in Conroe. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Thursday in Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Vera Pauline Brown was born Feb. 7, 1911, in Paducah. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, as well as a faithful member of West Conroe Baptist Church. She moved to Conroe from Fort Worth in 1994. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hugh E. Brown. Survivors: Her son, Tommy Brown of Fort Worth; daughters, Shirley Davila and her husband, Noe, of Abilene, and Sue Kimbrough and her husband, Jim, of Willis; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
