Bio
Memorial rites were held for Mrs. Finis (Lucille) O'Neal Friday, June 24. Services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. at Madison Avenue Baptist Church in Enid, Oklahoma, with Rev. Vernon Pendleton and Dr. T. Hollis Epton, officiating. At 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon services were held at the First Baptist Church in Shamrock with Rev. Jim Scott officiating. Burial was in Shamrock Cemetery under direction of Landussu-Evans Funeral Home of Enid. Mrs. O'Neal died Tuesday, June 21, in Enid. Born May 24, 1915 in Shamrock, Lucille Copeland and Finas O'Neal were married in 1933 in Shamrock and lived here for several years. Mr. O'Neal was employed by the Columbia Gas Plant west of Shamrock and lived in Kellerville prior to moving to Kansas where he went into the ministry. He served churches in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas before going to Enid 10 years ago from Sedan, Kansas. He was pastor of the Madison Avenue Baptist Church in Enid. Survivors include the widower of the home; two daughters: Mrs. Bill (Doris Jean) Webster of Whiting, Kansas; Mrs. John (Marla J.) Chadwick of Waukomis, Oklahoma; four sons: Clifford E. O'Neal of Big Spring; Larry F. O'Neal of Weatherford, Oklahoma; Thomas L. O'Neal of Altus, Oklahoma; four sisters: Mrs. Seidel Franklin of Shamrock, Mrs. Bernice Isaac of Hawthorne, California, Mrs. Myrle Dorman of Phoenix, Arizona; Lela Williams of Odessa; one step sister, Mrs. Ruth Davis of Terrell; three brothers: Elmer Copeland of Bakersfield, California, L.B.
