Bio

Mrs. Mary Ada Williams, 39 year old Lela resident, passed away in St. Mary's Hospital Tuesday morning. Last rites were conducted at the Lela Advent Christian Church this morning (Thursday) at 11 o'clock with Rev. Tay Turnbow, pastor, in charge. Pallbearers were Troy Purcell, S.M. Seago, Dale Wells, J.F. Isaacs and C.V. Brown. Flower attendants were Mmes. Troy Purcell, Joe Glover, J.C. Nix, J.F. Isaacs and Milisa Sullivan. Interment was in the Shamrock Cemetery with Womack Funeral Home of McLean in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Williams was born in Tarrant County, Texas, January 26, 1904, and had resided in this vicinity for the past 24 years. Survivors include her widower, G.M. Williams, three daughters and five sons, Mrs. Loyd Langley, Ruby, Audrey, Elmer, Orville, Lawrence and an infant son, all of Lela. Brothers and sisters surviving are Robert Terry and Elzie Terry, both of Lela, Mrs. Seidel Howard, Mrs. Finis O'Neal, Mrs. Murl Dorman and L.B. Copeland, all of Shamrock, Mrs. Ruby Agan, Donna, Texas, Mrs. Ruth Davis, Kaufman, Texas, Garland Copeland, San Francisco, Calif., Mrs. Bernice Ray, Los Angeles, Calif., and Wilson Copeland, somewhere in India. Published by Shamrock Teas, March 2, 1944.
